Job Description

The Culinary Development Chef is part of the Culinary and Menu Enablement team, responsible for developing and delivering culinary and menu solutions across the sector. This position will engage, collaborate, and maintain a partnership with a wide range of Aramark’s operating, marketing, technical and cross-functional teams. Primary workstreams for this role will include ingredient and recipe development for the residential menu service channel and various supply chain related projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Executing the culinary innovation process as directed by leadership
  • Ensure that all recipe development follows specified process and delivers accurate yield, cost and nutritional alignment
  • Developing and executing all deliverables specified in culinary scope documents on time and on budget
  • Performs basic analysis and reporting related to ingredients and recipes

Requirements

  • Culinary degree required with advanced work in Culinary Arts
  • Minimum 2-3 years of culinary experience
  • Experience with menu and recipe development preferred
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Food Production Management systems, and recipe database
  • PRIMA Web experience is strongly preferred
  • Requires excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, effectively cope with change, and works well with others

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • PRIMA Web experience is strongly preferred
