CT Technologist

• Utilize expertise to capture precise diagnostic images
• Adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs
• Provide compassionate interaction and patient care
• Display a thorough knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and positioning
• Perform CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations
• Display competency operating equipment, performing procedures, teleradiology system, and ability to function as a radiologic technologist when requested
• Utilize good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others
• Practice good sterile technique when required and utilize universal precautions and other infection control practices
• Display knowledge of various drugs and contrast media utilized
• Display competency injecting contrast media, if required
• Accurately complete electronic documentation in Meditech and PACS

• Minimum of two years CT tech experience
• Graduate AMA approved school of radiologic technology
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suites
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CRT-State of Arizona
• ARRT-R-National
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card
