As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
Job Responsibility:
Utilize expertise to capture precise diagnostic images
Adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs
Provide compassionate interaction and patient care
Foster a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process
Execute all diagnostic CT studies operating equipment
Deliver patient care for all age groups of patients requiring CT services
Act as a liaison between the patient and the radiologist
Perform incidental office duties necessary to maintain a timely and complete patient record
Perform Quality Assurance audits and activities as assigned
Demonstrate proper use of communication tools/materials for effective communication
Understand how the culture(s) of patient populations can affect communication, collaboration and the provision of care, treatment and services
Demonstrate knowledge and proper skills associated with the department’s defined specific populations served
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology (including course work in cross-sectional anatomy and/or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy)
One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position
American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
State of Washington Registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Nice to have:
One year of work experience as a CT Technologist is preferred
