CT Technologist

• Perform precise diagnostic CT studies using GE CT scanners and associated equipment, executing procedures according to formal protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care for all age groups, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and acting as a liaison between patients and radiologists
• Generate detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and organs, ensuring clear results for accurate diagnoses
• Monitor patient conditions during exams, responding to emergencies, and consulting with nursing staff as needed
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety through appropriate positioning, radiation protection (ALARA), and adhering to protocol manuals
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting patient care notes, entering data into existing databases, and recording billing information
• Contribute to quality assurance through assigned audits and activities, upholding departmental standards

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, (including course work in cross-sectional anatomy and/or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy), upon hire
• One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Medical Radiographer: WA, upon hire
