Job Description:

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Nassau Crossing in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This is a PRN, Various Shifts opportunity. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
  • Operate CT equipment and ensure it is properly maintained
  • Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
  • Educate patients on the CT process and address any questions they may have
  • operating and calibrating GE equipment
  • preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning
  • providing clear explanations & education about the process
  • ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
  • Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography - ARRT
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT - ARRT
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - State Radiologic Health Branch
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
  • must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date
