Baptist Health is seeking a Part-Time CT Technologist to join our Cat Scan Department at our Free Standing ED Town Center. This is a part-time day shift opportunity. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person. Job Responsibility:
Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions
Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
Deliver high-quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients
Operating and calibrating GE equipment
Preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning
Providing clear explanations & education about the process
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - State Radiologic Health Branch
Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography - ARRT
Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT - ARRT
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
