Within the Imaging Department, under the direction of the Special Imaging Manager, the CT Technologist operates computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Positions patients for procedures, prepares radiopaque media, operates scanner, and manipulates images to better demonstrate anatomical structures. Maintains proper documentation, provides a thorough history, and communicates effectively with the Radiologist.
Job Responsibility:

Maintains proper documentation, provides a thorough history, and communicates effectively with the Radiologist
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiologic Technologist
Must be ARRT (CT) certified within 24 months of hire and remain current with this registry
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross
Must be able to commit to 16 hours each month outside of Memorial through Labor Day with the commitment of 32 hours a month
Nice to have:
Six to twelve months of related experience preferred
