Job Description

This position sits within CBRE GDS’ Global Supply Chain department and provides critical support for procurement activities across multiple programs in the portfolio. Working with moderate independence, the role partners with functional and program stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of procurement processes. Responsibilities include coordinating end-to-end purchasing activities for both materials and services, maintaining compliance with established procedures, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and value delivery to program operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate with Operations teams to verify vendor deliveries and service accuracy
  • Confirm receipt of goods with on-site staff and document any discrepancies
  • Relay information between project teams, suppliers, and site representatives as needed
  • Provide routine supply chain support to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on schedule
  • Carry out sourcing and purchasing activities in line with established procedures
  • Process day-to-day subcontract documentation, compliance checks, and renewal paperwork
  • Follow company policies, regulations, and sourcing standards during procurement activities
  • Record and track supply chain issues such as delays or shortages, escalating when required
  • Maintain accurate procurement files and support audit requirements
  • Generate standard procurement reports for project teams and management
  • Provide updates on procurement status and maintain required documentation
  • Support general supply chain activities as directed by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 3 years of Experience performing relevant procurement or supply chain duties
  • Experienced in carrying out routine sourcing and purchasing activities in line with established procedures
  • Able to coordinate with on-site teams to confirm deliveries, document vendor performance, and resolve basic logistics issues
  • Familiar with subcontract documentation, compliance requirements, and routine issue tracking across multiple sites
  • Capable of preparing standard supply chain reports and maintaining accurate records for stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with working knowledge of ERP/procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow directions and manage assigned tasks
  • Focused on accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established workflows

Nice to have

  • 1 Year of Experience working with ERP systems, Costpoint preferred
  • 1 Year of Experience supporting U.S. Government Contracts
