Join us as a CSO – Service Analyst Analyst at Barclays, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards. You'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards
  • Spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence
  • Harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences
  • Manage the IT Services department and set the strategic direction, provide support to the bank's senior management team, and to manage IT Service risk across the organisation
  • Development of strategic direction for IT Services, including the implementation of up-to- date methodologies and processes
  • Management of the IT Services department, including oversight of IT Services colleagues and their performance
  • Relationship management of IT Services stakeholders
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedures for IT Services
  • Management of IT Services risk
  • Monitoring the financial performance of the IT Services department
  • Management of IT Services projects
  • Effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations

Requirements:

  • Skilled in using APM tools (AppDynamics, Kibana, and Observability) for issue troubleshooting and proactive monitoring
  • Experience in Triaging and driving solution to production incidents
  • Proficiency in analyzing logs, heap dumps, thread dumps
  • Working knowledge among platforms such as SQL, Oracle, Linux applications, Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache platforms like OpenShift or AWS
  • Understanding/working knowledge of SAAS products
  • Working principles of Security Services and Applications
