Job Description:

The Market Research Analyst, with guidance from project managers and senior executives, will be responsible for researching, writing and presenting feasibility studies and strategic plans for clients who are evaluating potential tourism, convention/conference, youth & amateur sports, multipurpose event, attraction and other destination development investments. We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our firm in a diverse, project-based environment as a key analytical and research resource. This individual will conduct market research and develop analyses to be used in preparing project feasibility studies. Research will also be used in studies that evaluate facility operational effectiveness and demand for various tourism, event and placemaking assets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct research and analysis to define the primary components of market demand for specific client projects
  • Prepare written reports
  • Research, compile and analyze issues impacting the various industries of study
  • Assemble and review operational and physical characteristics of existing and planned facilities
  • Conduct primary industry market research through analysis of past, current and potential future event space users and/or visitors to the market
  • Summarize results of research and analysis for both internal and external purposes
  • Develop current and prospective client presentation materials
  • Assist with project kick-offs, site visits, presentations and other client interactions, and occasionally travel to markets throughout the country

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts in both written and verbal formats
  • Creative, future-focused thinker with the ability to develop strategic recommendations and visioning concepts for a variety of project types
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to assimilate new information quickly and work under deadlines
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
  • Computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as well as individuals with up to six (6) years of professional experience
