Job Description

The CSC Business Direct Banker 1 provides inbound phone support to Huntington’s business banking customers, delivering “Simply the Best” service through consultative conversations. This role focuses on resolving customer inquiries, identifying referral opportunities, and supporting overflow needs across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) while meeting CSC performance expectations. Business Direct Bankers act as trusted advisors, working independently and collaboratively to ensure first‑contact resolution and a seamless, professional experience for business clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide exceptional inbound phone support to business banking customers, resolving inquiries accurately and efficiently
  • Engage in Service‑to‑Sales conversations by profiling customer needs and recommending appropriate Huntington products and services
  • Cross‑sell deposit, lending, and digital banking products while adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strive for first‑contact resolution using available tools, procedures, and resources
  • Maintain current knowledge of business banking products, systems, and procedures
  • Support overflow calls for other CSC specialty teams and Lines of Business as needed
  • Collaborate with CSC Development Coordinators and Experience team members on training and knowledge sharing
  • Meet individual and team goals related to availability, customer satisfaction, quality, and referrals
  • Uphold Huntington’s core values and manage reputational risk at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support CSC initiatives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Proven experience in customer service or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using email systems and managing correspondence effectively
  • Familiarity with laptop hardware, keyboards, and peripherals
  • Basic understanding of logistics operations and processes
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Commitment to providing excellent service and resolving issues efficiently

Nice to have
