Job Description

The Customer Service Sales Area Manager is a position with a broad range of duties, including professional relationship with customer, proposal and contract management, customer / account management and development, sales planning and forecasting.

Job Responsibility

  • Develops business with the assigned key account customers and establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel and enhancing customer engagement through periodic visits and dedicated programs
  • Meets sales targets and strategic objectives, defines CS sales forecasts, and contributes to the annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy, ensuring costs and expenditures remain within the assigned budget
  • Contributes to the development of business plans and CS sales budgets aligned with company objectives, ensuring adherence to assigned cost target
  • Proactively leads strategic account planning by defining shared performance objectives, financial targets, and key milestones for a one to three-year period
  • Continuously assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs, and coordinates cross-functional efforts to develop tailored solutions that effectively address those needs
  • Evaluates customer business processes and provides feedback on customer relations, technical improvements, and commercial opportunities to support revenue growth
  • Acts as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts. Manages ongoing conference calls and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts. Provides regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts progress for all project areas
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven Customer Service skills and Account Management required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
  • Preferred experience in material handling industry (automated system)
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Solid proficiency of Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
