CRP Warehouseman – International position at Caddell Construction in Montgomery, AL. Responsible for warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, and preparing materials for international shipping. Requires five years of warehouse or construction experience and security clearance.
Job Responsibility
Prepares the CRP Warehouse to receive incoming materials
Receives, inspects and unloads materials at the CRP Warehouse
Notifies the CRP Warehouse Supervisor of all deliveries and assists with matching the delivery to the correct SCN
Assisted the Supervisor with verification of weights, dimensions and correct color coding of the materials
Places the Secure material inside the Secure area of the CRP
Palletizes, bands, crates and stages materials as needed to prepare for container loading
Prepares the Secure material sea shipping containers for Government inspection
Coordinates the packing and stabilization of the materials into the sea containers and completes the loading process with the installation of the dunnage wall per Government procedures
Keeps the Warehouse building neat, clean and safe
Monitors all Warehouse supplies and notifies the Supervisor when materials need to be ordered
Checks and maintains all tools and equipment to ensure safe and proper operation and repairs or replaces any broken or damaged items
Performs all other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years of experience in a warehouse or construction environment required
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Understanding of construction materials, equipment and shipping documentation/procedures
Requires excellent technical and management skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Working knowledge of logistics, general warehousing, receiving, shipping, HazMat storage and handling, OSHA safety requirements and related documentation
Department of State minimum secret security clearance required
Valid driver’s license and Forklift Operators Certification, HazMat Certification, OSHA 10 Hour Training (minimal)
Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 100lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit
Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights
Nice to have
International experience and HazMat training preferred
