Randstad is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Crown Reach Forklift Operator to join a premier food manufacturing facility in Milton. This is a critical role within the manufacturing & logistics sector, where precision and safety are paramount. As an essential link in the supply chain, you will be responsible for navigating a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring that food products are stored, shipped, and received with the highest level of accuracy. In this manufacturing & logistics position, you will primarily operate a Crown Reach forklift to manage high-volume inventory. A key component of this role involves working within a freezer environment, requiring resilience and a strong commitment to safety protocols in cold storage. Beyond operating heavy machinery, the Crown Reach Forklift Operator will also engage in administrative tasks, including data entry for shipping documents, ensuring that all logistics paperwork is completed correctly. Job Responsibility

Safely and efficiently operate a Crown Reach forklift to move, stack, and retrieve pallets within a high-density warehouse
Perform accurate shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all incoming and outgoing goods meet quality standards
Conduct regular inventory counts and stock replenishments to maintain optimal warehouse flow
Navigate in and out of a freezer environment (cold storage) to manage temperature-sensitive food products
Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track product movement and maintain data integrity
Perform data entry to produce and verify shipping documents, bills of lading, and inventory labels
Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on the Crown Reach forklift and report any maintenance needs
Collaborate with the manufacturing & logistics team to meet daily production and shipping targets
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict food safety and HACCP regulations
Manually load or unload materials from pallets or transport vehicles when required

Requirements

Valid forklift certification with documented experience on the Crown Reach forklift
Proven experience in a manufacturing & logistics or warehouse setting, preferably in food or cold storage
Full availability for the night shift (9 PM - 5:30 AM) and flexibility for initial day-shift training
Ability to work comfortably in a freezer environment for extended periods
Capability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Reliable transportation to the facility in Milton
