This position aims to become a central force at the Final Assembly Line. As the key on-site representative for all Airbus manufacturing plants, you will act as a critical bridge between the plants and the assembly line. You'll take on the vital role of managing and executing Outstanding Work (OSW) and Non-Conformity (NC) reworks, using your expertise in technical analysis and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will directly impact the on-time and on-quality delivery of aircraft, making you an indispensable part of the final production process.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary on-site representative for all Airbus MCA plants at the Final Assembly Line (FAL)
Act as the central point of contact between FAL customers and the manufacturing plants/subcontracted suppliers, ensuring the on-time escalation of all blocking issues to H/O XP Manufacturing Engineering and other relevant stakeholders
Manage all Outstanding Work (OSW), and secure the proper execution of plant work orders
Ensure a seamless section handover by analyzing all drawings, tooling, competency qualifications, and parts ordering information required for on-site work, including S01, S03, QSRs, DQNs, and modifications
Provide immediate technical disposition and analysis on all ATAs for all NC/ALB/QLB that occur at the FAL with plant responsibility, support complex constraints on FAL critical path (e.g., Junction/ Power-on / Hydraulic release/ Fuel test etc.)
Provide hands-on technical support to the production shopfloor, with a focus on resolving complex constraints on the FAL critical path (e.g., Junctions, Power-on, Hydraulic release, Fuel tests, etc.)
Take charge of Manufacturing Engineering disposition and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including FAL ME, design offices, and suppliers) to carry out technical investigations and achieve final closure of all issues
Drive continuous improvement by actively participating in process optimization initiatives, such as identifying and correcting OS findings, participating in SQCDP meetings, and contributing to internal projects
Facilitate knowledge transfer and technical exchange among team members
Promote a culture of continuous learning and share lessons learned to improve overall operational efficiency and compliance
This role requires a normal day & late shift work, in case of industrial crisis, it may require work in the night shifts when necessary
Requirements:
Aeronautics education
Engineer equivalent degree
3~5 years’ in Aviation industry
Experience in multi-functional teams & subcontracted activities management
