The role involves supporting the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Risk & Controls team within Finance by strengthening governance, risk, and control processes for FP&A globally. Responsibilities also include managing regulatory adherence, monitoring control processes, and coordination related to exams, audits, and issue management lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams across locations.
Job Responsibility:
Maintaining and managing inventory of FP&A Policies, Procedures, and local Standard Operating Procedure/guidance documents
execute monitoring/quality checks on controls across FP&A process: QMMF, Plan, Quarterly Outlook, WFU and Quarterly Business Reviews
coordination of exams, audits, and monitoring of FP&A processes by regulators, Internal Audit, and External Audit
FP&A R&C Reporting
management of end-to-end Issue Management process and lifecycle
management of MCA governance processes for FP&A inclusive of MCA architecture and framework, monitoring, and Risk Assessments
coordinate Risk Id and Lines of Defense self-assessment
EUC oversight including compliance with EUC Policy & Standard Compliance Requirements, exception monitoring, new EUC creation & registration approval, and EUC retirement
model oversight including model inventory attestation, MRM Policy Oversight, data quality oversight, and MRM EMP control monitoring
adherence to finance function requirements including records management, enterprise resilience, information security, mandatory absence, and personal trading and investment policies.
Requirements:
3-6 years in a control/risk management experience ideally in regulated financial services industry
strong knowledge and experience of internal control principles
extensive business experience or equivalent experience
experience with creating, reviewing, and driving implementation of action plans to be executed by the business unit, involving other supporting units as needed
excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills to interface with all levels of management and across businesses and functions
experience of driving programs in a matrix environment and gaining agreement between multiple teams
ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities
excellent communication and influencing skills
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
attention to detail is an essential part of the job
adaptability, multitasking, team management, and strong project management skills
proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
experience of data visualization (Tableau) and AI tools
interpersonal skills to work with colleagues at all levels across multiple locations
