Job Description:

This cross-border Team schedule runs 5 days out and averages 5000 miles per week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Depart Winnipeg on Monday to the Midwest or Northeast U.S., deliver and reload to the Greater Toronto Area
  • Depart Tuesday night with an expedited load to Winnipeg, Reload to the U.S. and return to Winnipeg
  • Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year
  • Additional work might be available upon request
  • Freight and destinations might vary occasionally
  • Hours and days of work might change from time to time according to operational demands

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
  • Must have a qualified team partner
  • Must be qualified to drive in the U.S.
  • Must be eligible to cross-the border
  • Must have 6 months of driving HWY17 experience
  • Must be willing to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
  • Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
