Job Description

$3000 Sign on Bonus. Get Paid On Time. Every Time. This position requires you to be on the road 7 to 10 days at a time, averaging 10,000 miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul. Running primarily in British Columbia, Alberta, Western U.S., Pacific Northwest U.S., and Central U.S. Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states. Freight and Destinations will vary based on operational requirements. Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year. Additional work might be available upon request. Flexible schedules requiring weekend departures. Regional freight will be required. Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.

  • Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
  • Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
  • Must be U.S. qualified
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. mountain experience
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
