Requirements

Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
Must be U.S. qualified
Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain experience
Must be eligible for a FAST card
Must be able to work weekends
Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
Reliable, flexible, and punctual

Job Responsibility

On the road 10 to 14 days at a time, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month
Resets on the road as required
Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul
Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states
Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
Must be able to drive to Alaska if required 12 months a year
Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year
Flexible schedules requiring weekend departures
Regional freight will be required
Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
