We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and commercially minded CRM Client Account and Business Development Lead to drive growth in our CRM practice. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of CRM strategy, technical architecture, and new business development. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying CRM opportunities, leading platform and service scoping, and supporting solution design for complex, data-driven marketing ecosystems. You must be able to speak credibly across technical implementation, architecture, and strategic use cases, bridging sales, delivery, and client strategy functions. You’ll be part architect, part strategist—leading from the front to secure and shape CRM engagements.
Job Responsibility:
Lead CRM-specific business development efforts, including pipeline creation, qualification, and pitch leadership
Collaborate with client services, strategy, and technical teams to shape and respond to briefs with CRM-first solutions
Articulate technical value of CRM solutions to both marketing and IT stakeholders with confidence and clarity
Translate client objectives into CRM strategies and multi-channel campaign frameworks
Lead platform recommendations and technical solution shaping for clients across key CRM ecosystems
Advise clients on CRM best practices, data segmentation, customer journeys, and lifecycle planning
Support project scoping and estimation with technical and strategic input to ensure commercially viable solutions
Act as the CRM voice in cross-functional teams, connecting strategy, creative, data, and tech
Partner with delivery and product leads to ensure feasibility and alignment across client engagements
Champion CRM knowledge internally, mentoring team members and contributing to agency growth goals
Requirements:
Proven experience in a growth / business development / strategic partnerships role within a creative, digital, or technology agency
Deep understanding of CRM strategy, customer lifecycle, data architecture, and marketing automation platforms
Confident in engaging both marketing and technical stakeholders, including CMOs, CTOs, and Heads of Digital
Commercial acumen with experience in shaping complex CRM programmes and contributing to RFPs and pitches
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate CRM value clearly and persuasively
Hands-on familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, HubSpot, Braze, or Microsoft Dynamics is a strong advantage
