CRIU Analyst

• conduct investigations and research on potentially suspicious clients using internal and external systems and databases
• perform Cross Sector reviews spanning multiple Citi business lines
• document findings and prepare investigation case files with required documentation
• summarize findings clearly and concisely in writing
• provide recommendations to senior management on next steps like client retention or termination
• assist AML team in risk management by analyzing root causes and business impacts
• assess risk in business decisions to safeguard Citigroup and its assets
• escalate and manage compliance or control issues

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• relevant experience 0-2 years
• knowledge of AML regulations preferred
• proficient in MS Office
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• demonstrated analytical skills
• knowledge of banking products policies and regulations
• intermediate to advanced Excel skills (databases, formulas)
• ability to develop narratives and investigative conclusions
• knowledge of deposits, monetary instruments
• analytical abilities and decision-making
• problem-solving within norms and company policies

• experience in AML, money laundering investigation analysis
• familiarity with banking product regulation policies
• ability to work with databases and Excel formulas
• ease with creating narratives and investigative conclusions
