As a ROC Critical Environment Technician Manager, you will be the strategic leader in our Regional Operations Center, overseeing the critical environment technicians and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence. Your role will be pivotal in driving the performance and reliability of our data centers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Develops and Implements Procedures: Enhances or creates new procedures and leads drills
Team Leadership and Management: Reviews and approves shift handovers, mentors the team, identifies succession planning candidates, and can fulfill the duties of the Regional ROC Manager when required
Oversees Operations and Provides Expertise: Serves as a subject matter expert, oversees day-to-day workload, ensures team training, and liaises globally with local operations to manage and escalate issues
Monitors and Responds to Alarms: Utilizes various platforms to monitor critical environment equipment, interprets alarms, assesses customer impact, and creates tickets for unplanned events, supporting local investigation and root cause analyses

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent
5+ years mission critical services work/applied learning experience (e.g., high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields) OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent AND 7+ years mission critical services experience (e.g., high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields) OR Associate’s Degree or technical trade certification (e.g., military, trade school), or higher-equivalent education AND 5+ years mission-critical services experience and incident management (e.g., high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields) OR equivalent experience
1+ year(s) people management experience
