Job Description:

The firm I am working with is a well-established multi-service law firm committed to access to justice. The teams work across criminal defence, family law, housing, civil liberties, and human rights. We are ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers UK.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage your own caseload of criminal matters, including theft, assault, drug offences, and related work
  • Represent clients at the Magistrates’ Court
  • Provide legal advice throughout all stages of the criminal process
  • Prepare and present cases clearly and effectively
  • Work with clients, barristers, and other professionals to move cases forward
  • Keep case files accurate and up to date

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years PQE in criminal law
  • Confident handling your own caseload independently
  • Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedures
  • Good advocacy and communication skills
  • Organised, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Committed to delivering a high level of client service
