As part of its expansion, the firm is now seeking a talented Criminal & Regulatory Solicitor to join its well-established team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified solicitor with experience in both criminal defence and regulatory law to join a dynamic and supportive department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a mixed caseload of criminal defence and regulatory matters, including advocacy and advisory work
  • Represent clients in Magistrates' and Crown Court proceedings, as well as before regulatory and disciplinary tribunals
  • Prepare case strategies, review and assess evidence, and draft legal documents
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice in sensitive and high-pressure situations
  • Ensure high standards of client care and legal service delivery
  • Attend court hearings, police stations, and regulatory interviews as needed
  • Work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales with solid experience in criminal defence and regulatory law
  • Strong court advocacy skills and confident communication abilities
  • A high level of professionalism, sound legal judgment, and a proactive attitude
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A client-centred approach and a strong commitment to ethical legal practice
  • The flexibility to attend court, regulatory hearings, or client sites when necessary
