Job Description:

An established Legal 500 criminal defence practice based in West London is seeking an experienced Criminal Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Criminal Paralegal looking to expand their exposure to complex criminal matters including serious crime, fraud, and police station work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting fee earners with criminal defence matters
  • Preparing case bundles
  • Taking client instructions
  • Drafting statements
  • Assisting with Crown Court and Magistrates' Court proceedings
  • Attending police stations
  • Liaising with clients, barristers, and other third parties

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in criminal law (minimum 6 months)
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • LPC/SQE completed or in progress (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Police Station Accreditation is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
