A highly respected and long-established firm in Essex is seeking a dedicated Criminal Solicitor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a firm known for its strong reputation, supportive working environment, and high-quality criminal defence work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handling a varied caseload of criminal matters, including police station representation, magistrates’ court work, and preparing cases for trial
  • Working closely with an experienced team of solicitors who are committed to delivering excellent client service
  • Playing an active role in client management and the day-to-day running of files from initial instruction through to conclusion

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor with experience in criminal law (newly qualified considered)
  • Police Station Accreditation is desirable but not essential
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills, with a proactive and organised approach
  • A team player with a genuine interest in criminal defence work
