Job Responsibility

Provide administration to support Domestic Abuse case management interventions
Make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services
Work alongside existing agencies to design a co-ordinated, intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risks, and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours
Work closely with the IDVA’s to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved
Deliver one-to-one psychosocial interventions with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse, aiming to reduce long-term risk to current and future victims/survivors, and children
Support individuals to make meaningful changes, contributing to improved quality of life and safer outcomes—helping offenders move away from the criminal justice system

Requirements

A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Job Responsibility

Provide high-quality social work assessments to individuals involved in the criminal justice system
Utilise the SARA v3 risk assessment and LSCMI tool effectively to inform case planning and risk management strategies
Develop and implement person-centred support plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other relevant agencies
Work collaboratively with criminal justice partners, including police, courts, and prison services
Provide advice and guidance to service users and their families on a range of issues, including mental health, substance misuse, accommodation, and employment
Contribute to the development and delivery of group work and other interventions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on Carefirst or Carejust, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to effective information sharing
Keep abreast of relevant legislation, policy, and research in the field of criminal justice social work
