Criminal Duty Solicitor

• Provide criminal defence services across a wide range of cases
• Represent clients in police stations
• Making court appearances at first hearings, interim hearings and trial advocacy.

• Previous experience as a Criminal Duty Solicitor is essential
• Criminal Litigation Accreditation is required
• Strong commitment and in-depth knowledge of criminal defence
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Proficient in legal research and comfortable working in a digital environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive client relationships.

Experiencing managing a team is ideal.

• No pressure to work evenings as the company has agents covering evening shifts
• If you must be at court the next morning, you are not expected to work evenings.
