Job Description:

A well-regarded criminal defence firm based in London is looking to recruit a Crime Solicitor with 0-3 years’ PQE to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Crime Solicitor to gain experience across a broad range of criminal matters, from police station work to advocacy in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

Job Responsibility:

Manage their own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters
Attend police stations
Represent clients at court hearings
Handle files from initial interview through to trial

Requirements:

0-3 years’ PQE with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales
Police Station Accreditation is essential
Duty Solicitor status is desirable
Experience in criminal defence work, including case preparation and court representation
Strong communication and organisational skills
A genuine interest in criminal law and client care
