Job Description

A well-regarded criminal defence firm based in London is looking to recruit a Crime Solicitor with 0-3 years’ PQE to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Crime Solicitor to gain experience across a broad range of criminal matters, from police station work to advocacy in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage their own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters
  • Attend police stations
  • Represent clients at court hearings
  • Handle files from initial interview through to trial

Requirements

  • 0-3 years’ PQE with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales
  • Police Station Accreditation is essential
  • Duty Solicitor status is desirable
  • Experience in criminal defence work, including case preparation and court representation
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in criminal law and client care
