Job Description:

An established residential technology integrator delivering premium smart home, automation and AV solutions across luxury properties in the UK and overseas. The business specialises in high-end integrated systems, combining AV, lighting, HVAC, networking and security into seamless, intuitive environments. With a reputation for meticulous delivery and exceptional client experience, the team works across multi-disciplinary projects involving engineers, designers and technical specialists.

Job Responsibility:

  • Programming, commissioning and testing large-scale Crestron systems for high-end residential projects
  • Customising and adapting Crestron code using SIMPL and SIMPL+ to meet project requirements
  • Integrating third-party systems including AV, lighting, HVAC, security and data networks
  • Developing user interfaces using tools such as VTPro and Construct
  • Collaborating with design, engineering and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Providing aftercare support, troubleshooting and maintenance for existing systems
  • Assisting with wider integration platforms where relevant (e.g. KNX, Control4, Savant, AMX, Lutron)

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Crestron systems
  • Strong proficiency in Crestron programming and familiarity with the full product ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Crestron with AV, lighting, HVAC, security and network systems
  • A logical, methodical approach to programming and problem-solving
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and documentation
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with clients and on multi-trade sites
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a wider engineering and project team
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overseas work when required

Nice to have:

  • Experience with KNX, Control4, Savant, AMX or Lutron
  • Knowledge of SIMPL#
  • UI development experience (e.g. HTML5)
  • Basic electronics and cable-termination skills
  • Full UK driving licence
