Creo Designer Part-Time, 20+ hours a week Fully Remote | $30 – $38/hr, depending on experience Summary: The Creo Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining 3D models and 2D drawings using PTC Creo, while managing product data, revisions, and workflows through PTC Windchill. This role supports engineering and manufacturing teams by ensuring designs meet technical requirements, design standards, and configuration management policies throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical design background, excellent CAD skills, and hands-on experience working within a PDM/PLM environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies using PTC Creo
  • Create and maintain 2D drawings, GD&T, and BOMs
  • Manage design data, revisions, and lifecycle states in Windchill
  • Support engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and release processes
  • Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and design best practices
  • Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Perform tolerance analysis and basic design calculations as needed
  • Support prototype development and manufacturing readiness
  • Assist in troubleshooting design or documentation issues
  • Maintain accurate configuration control across product versions
