Job Description:

Robert Half Finance and Accounting Contract Talent is seeking a temporary credit underwriter for a 12-week project assignment located in West County headquarters. This role supports the credit team on site five days a week, providing professional-level underwriting and credit analysis support.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct detailed credit analysis for commercial and banking related lending requests
Review financial statements and assess borrower strength
Prepare written credit summaries for management review
Support the underwriting team with daily workflow needs
Assist with evaluating credit risk and recommending appropriate credit actions
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely review and completion of underwriting tasks

Requirements:

Previous experience in credit underwriting or commercial credit analysis
Strong ability to interpret financial statements and assess risk
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a professional environment
Experience within a banking or financial services setting is preferred
Proficiency in credit analysis tools and methodologies
Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing reports and summaries
