Credit Underwriter

• adoption of leading practices in credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring
• detailed review of financial analysis, due diligence, projection modeling, stress testing, risk ratings
• review and approval of Credit Approval Memos (CAM) packages
• partnering with Front Office on structuring and production of term sheet for new transactions
• facilitate relationships with key clients in Banking and Risk and with key Regulators, Internal Audit, and control functions
• support ICM Underwriting organization on strategic initiatives/projects

• 10+ years risk/risk-related credit work experience in banking/financial institutions
• proven ability to effectively engage with regulators and internal control functions
• demonstrates strong ethics and integrity
• ability to see the ‘big picture’ in a complex environment
• can make decisions under pressure and short timeline
• excellent verbal & written communication skills
• active listening skills
• excellent presentation skills
• degree/master’s degree preferred
