Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Sales Specialist to join their Singapore office and drive the APAC credit markets sales growth. Responsibilities include institutional client coverage, strategy execution, client base development, and collaboration with internal partners. Candidates should have 7+ years of Securities Sales experience, strong judgment, and market expertise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for covering institutional clients for Credit products with a focus on APAC clients
  • Execute the coverage strategic plan set by management team to grow the APAC credit sales business in medium and long term
  • Deliver financial results and market share of our client franchise
  • Develop and grow the current client base, develop strong partnership with our clients
  • Proactively identify client opportunities for the current platform, provide feedback on customer demand and make recommendations to drive product innovation
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal trading desks, as well as multiple internal partners, including Regional Management, Risk, Compliance, Products, and the Global Macro Sales and trading team
  • Operate with high diligence according to the internal risk and control framework.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • University Degree or advanced qualifications and equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an Institutional Sales role or a client servicing role, preferably in Credit/FICC products
  • Good knowledge of Credit markets products and solutions including understanding of electronic distribution platforms
  • Network of institutional clients across APAC region
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment as well as a strong business sense with a strategic and tactical orientation
  • Good understanding of technological, risk and regulatory trends impacting Credit/FICC businesses
  • Ability to analyze data and use for decision-making and managing initiatives
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong commercial judgement, excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Fluency in English, with additional regional languages being an added advantage
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organizational environment and partnership skills.
