Job Description

Come and join us as a Credit Risk & Transactional Services Manager to lead a specialist team in managing credit authorisations and financial stability for our partnerships. As a Credit Risk & Transitional Services Manager, you will be fundamental to our mission of making homes, businesses, and lives better by ensuring the financial stability of our business. You will lead a specialist team to manage the authorisation of credit limits within the plumbing and heating industry, ensure the accurate allocation of cash to credit accounts, and act as the primary point of contact for external debt recovery solicitors. By providing expert credit risk authorisation and seamless cash allocation, you enable our teams to offer the best customer experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct robust credit risk authorisations and limit reviews to protect the business from bad debt and ensure financial safety
  • Monitor and manage accounts passed for litigation, ensuring all legal processes are followed safely and ethically while managing relationships with external solicitors
  • Oversee the accurate and timely allocation of cash received to credit accounts, providing customers and stakeholders with a clear view of their financial standing
  • Identify and implement process improvements in workflows to increase efficiency and develop innovative reporting methods for better visibility of litigation outcomes
  • Work closely with the Head of Credit and sales/operational teams to evolve credit risk strategies that support sustainable business growth
  • Manage a team of approximately 3-4 (including New Accounts, Sales Ledger, and Legal Debt Recovery) focusing on high performance and professional development
