Job Description:

Credit Risk Analyst role within Institutional Credit Management (ICM) providing integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit across Citi's enterprise. Responsible for NAM Banks & Broker Dealer portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

Assess credit and financial strength of Citi's Large Financial Institutions Clients
Complete Credit Approval Memos (CAMs) and Final Obligor Risk Ratings (FORR)
Continuous monitoring of covered portfolio including industry trends and impacts to key relationships
Partnership with regional and industry stakeholders in credit assessment and monitoring standards
Support ICM Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives

Requirements:

2-5 years previous experience in a financial institution with focus on credit analysis
Degree in Quantitative Fields such as Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Business Finance, or Mathematics
Previous experience in credit risk management or equivalent training
Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with high sense of urgency
Highly organized and able to work in fast-paced environment managing multiple projects
Effective interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills
Intermediate analytical skills with understanding of key financial components
Considerable knowledge of financial statements and GAAP accounting
Strong understanding of Credit Policy and procedures
Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
Progressive experience with internal Policies, Standards, Procedures, Templates and financial modeling
