An intermediate-level position responsible for conducting credit reviews, credit approval and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The role spans portfolio oversight, reporting, analytics, and strategy management for unsecured lending products.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Unsecured Lending Risk Manager in the continuous monitoring and oversight of unsecured lending portfolios (Credit Cards and Personal Loans), collaborating with Business and Operations teams from end-to-end
Exercise oversight and actively manage the risk appetite framework for the unsecured lending portfolio, ensuring its operational alignment with established expectations and thresholds
Prepare and deliver regular Management Information System (MIS) reports for unsecured lending portfolios, providing critical insights for performance monitoring and management awareness
Drive initiatives to automate and digitalize routine MIS processes to enhance efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and eliminate End-User Computing (EUC) dependencies
Prepare and present ad hoc MIS reports focusing on lending business trends, highlighting key initiatives, and providing actionable insights to senior management
Conduct in-depth analysis to fine-tune acquisition and portfolio management strategies, aiming to optimize the risk-reward trade-off for unsecured lending products
Perform regular monitoring and validation of unsecured lending credit strategies, ensuring their effectiveness and adherence to risk policies
Manage credit risk functions across the entire credit lifecycle, including acquisition, portfolio management, and collections
Participate actively in various regulator, business, risk, system, and regional projects, fostering close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Credit Operations, Technology, and other relevant departments
Support the launch of new business initiatives, ensuring full compliance with the latest regulatory/compliance requirements and internal company policies
Develop, monitor, and optimize the utilization of various credit decision tools, including Credit Scorecards, Segmentation Models, Credit Bureau attributes, Decision Engines, and Basel models
Ensure all credit processes comply with company policies and requirements set out by local and lead regulators through the effective execution of control programs such as self-assessments, quality assurance reviews, and application audits
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
Requirements:
Minimum 6-7 years of credit risk and analytics management experience in Cards and Unsecured Lending Products
Strong knowledge and experience in managing regulatory reporting especially Basel
Proficient in handling mass data and able to interpret results with critical analysis
Self-initiative, effective communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to motivate others, strong sense of compliance awareness
Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in Business, Statistics or other related quantitative disciplines
