The Credit Maintenance Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for capturing and recording data on credit exposures, obligors and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate and maintain data quality in credit systems, monitor and report credit exposure, escalate deficiencies and recommend delinquent strategies in alignment with overall credit policies.
Job Responsibility
Prepare complex Credit Approvals (CA) and track CAs during approval process, following up when necessary and ensure approvals are received in compliance with policy/recorded in database accurately
Assist businesses by responding to information needs and contribute to the development of Global Risk Review (GRR) reports and other tools
Review month end GRRs for assigned portfolio segment(s) following data quality process and submit or process adjustments verifying their accuracy
Detect trends revealed in limit monitoring process to assess credit line needs, operational, or system needs
Apply in-depth knowledge and contribute to the development of new techniques and processes
Assume informal/formal leadership role within teams as well as coach and train new recruits
Involved in the coaching and training of new recruits
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Drive the intensive use of AI tools as a core capability, leveraging advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and decision-making across credit processes
Act with a strong consultative approach, partnering with Underwriting (UW) and Banking teams to support the design, structuring, and optimization of credit workflows
Ensure all solutions and processes are aligned with the CRMS Target Operating Model, contributing to its implementation and continuous improvement
Promote a culture of innovation by demonstrating openness to change, adaptability, and continuous learning
Proactively challenge the status quo of existing processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, improve, and transform current practices
Influence stakeholders and foster collaboration across functions to drive best-in-class credit process design
Requirements
5-8 years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
