Job Description:

Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Credit Controller. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Vimto Gardens, Manchester and you will have a salary range of £24,000 - £26,000 per year.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue balances in line with internal procedures
Maintain accurate records of account activity, payments, and communications
Issue statements, reminders, and correspondence in accordance with company policy
Liaise professionally with clients, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment queries
Investigate discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues, ensuring timely resolution
Agree payment arrangements where appropriate and monitor adherence
Produce regular reports on aged balances, trends, and account status
Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to reduce future risk
Provide support to the wider Client Accounts team with administrative and ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally
High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
