Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant office located in Chadderton, just a convenient 10-minute walk from a tram station!

Job Responsibility:

Managing credit control through emails and phone calls
Proactively chasing payments from customers
Engaging with customers to discuss their accounts
Updating systems and spreadsheets with accuracy
Sending timely payment reminders
Negotiating payment plans that work for both the organisation and the customer
Handling general invoicing
Producing insightful reports to track payment trends and outstanding balances

Requirements:

Previous credit control experience and willingness to assist with general finance tasks
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
A proactive approach to problem-solving and negotiation
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
