Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our financial services team. This role requires a strategic leader who can oversee credit and collections operations, manage foreclosure processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in commercial collections, credit analysis, and loss mitigation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing delinquent accounts, foreclosures, and loan defaults
  • Oversee the review of delinquent loan portfolios and communicate with borrowers through various channels, including calls, letters, and in-person visits
  • Approve and guide staff on collection strategies and loan workout plans to optimize recovery efforts
  • Direct foreclosure actions for unresolved accounts, ensuring proper documentation and system updates
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on litigation and foreclosure matters, attending court hearings as necessary
  • Manage foreclosed properties by overseeing maintenance, inspections, tax and insurance payments, and asset security
  • Negotiate and manage rental, lease, and sales agreements for bank-owned properties
  • Ensure compliance with fair credit reporting regulations and internal standards for loan reporting
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, and support audit processes
  • Participate in relevant seminars and training sessions to stay informed about industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial collections, credit analysis, and loss mitigation
  • Strong expertise in managing delinquent accounts, foreclosure processes, and loan defaults
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor staff in credit and collections operations
  • Familiarity with fair credit reporting regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience collaborating with legal teams on foreclosure and litigation matters
  • Knowledge of real estate management, including foreclosed property maintenance and sales agreements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging borrowers and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and regulatory changes
