Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role requires expertise in overseeing credit and collections functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial standards. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts receivable processes, collaborating with clients, and driving operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise credit and collections activities, ensuring timely and accurate recovery of outstanding payments
  • Manage and monitor accounts receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow for the organization
  • Oversee billing functions and ensure compliance with established accounting standards
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve disputes and maintain positive relationships
  • Analyze and optimize cash application processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to track and report financial activity
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the collections team, fostering a productive work environment
  • Develop and implement strategies for B2B collections to improve recovery rates
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all credit and collections activities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit and collections management with a focus on B2B operations
  • Proficiency in using accounting software systems and CRM tools
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and cash application processes
  • Familiarity with billing functions and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
