Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage the collections process for commercial accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize delinquencies
Conduct thorough credit analyses to approve or adjust credit limits for clients based on financial data
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue balances and implement effective collection strategies
Collaborate with legal teams on complex collections cases requiring legal intervention
Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze financial data and generate reports
Maintain accurate records of collections activities and client communications
Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency in credit and collections operations
Prepare detailed reports on credit performance and collections metrics for management review
Communicate with clients to address payment issues and negotiate resolutions
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations throughout the collections process
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial credit and collections
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and aging reports
Proven ability to handle high-volume collections and resolve delinquencies effectively
Experience in legal collections and collaboration with legal teams
Exceptional analytical skills for conducting credit evaluations and approving credit limits
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage client relationships
