Robert Half has partnered with a thriving manufacturing company on their search for an experienced Credit & Collections Coordinator.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate credit applications
  • Monitor customer credit limits
  • Collect outstanding payments
  • Resolve billing issues
  • Assist with charge backs
  • Update credit profiles
  • Collaborate with sales and management on credit decisions and terms
  • Review trial balance reports
  • Analyze customer accounts
  • Recommend accounts for third-party collections
  • Arrange debt payoffs
  • Ensure compliance with policies and applicable credit/collections laws and regulations
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Update account records
  • Provide assistance where collection efforts are needed
  • Create and maintain credit history records
  • Set up new client accounts
  • Document daily collection activity
  • Complete collection effort calls
  • Review and approve credit holds
  • Generate legal collections documents
  • Spreadsheet Maintenance
  • Perform payment reconciliations
  • Assist customer service department
  • Develop and schedule payment plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration
  • 2+ years of B2B Collections experience
  • Proficient ERP/accounting systems experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and multi-tasking skills

Nice to have:

Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction industry preferred
