We are looking for a skilled Credit & AR Analyst to join our team in Redmond, Washington. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing credit risk assessments, ensuring accurate accounts receivable processes, and maintaining customer account data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer disputes while supporting compliance initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct thorough evaluations of customer credit applications to determine creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits
Manage daily cash postings, credit card transactions, and general ledger adjustments while ensuring accuracy
Investigate and resolve customer payment disputes by collaborating with Customer Service and Sales teams to address billing issues and release credit holds
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accounts aging, Days Sales Outstanding, and bad debt exposure
Maintain and update customer account data, including tax identification numbers, addresses, and other essential information
Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Identify inefficiencies in accounts receivable processes and propose actionable improvements to enhance workflows
Collaborate with Sales management to address concerns related to high-risk customers and develop strategic solutions
Requirements:
Proven experience in credit risk assessment and accounts receivable management
Proficiency in handling daily cash receipts and credit card transaction postings
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve disputes and discrepancies effectively
Familiarity with generating and analyzing performance metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding and aging reports
Experience in maintaining accurate customer account data, including tax and address updates
Knowledge of audit compliance procedures and internal control standards
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
