Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Credit & AR Analyst to join our team in Redmond, Washington. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing credit risk assessments, ensuring accurate accounts receivable processes, and maintaining customer account data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer disputes while supporting compliance initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of customer credit applications to determine creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits
  • Manage daily cash postings, credit card transactions, and general ledger adjustments while ensuring accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment disputes by collaborating with Customer Service and Sales teams to address billing issues and release credit holds
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accounts aging, Days Sales Outstanding, and bad debt exposure
  • Maintain and update customer account data, including tax identification numbers, addresses, and other essential information
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • Identify inefficiencies in accounts receivable processes and propose actionable improvements to enhance workflows
  • Collaborate with Sales management to address concerns related to high-risk customers and develop strategic solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit risk assessment and accounts receivable management
  • Proficiency in handling daily cash receipts and credit card transaction postings
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve disputes and discrepancies effectively
  • Familiarity with generating and analyzing performance metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding and aging reports
  • Experience in maintaining accurate customer account data, including tax and address updates
  • Knowledge of audit compliance procedures and internal control standards
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
