Job Description:

A leading organization is seeking an experienced credit leader to join our regional credit team. This position plays a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Regional Credit Manager. You will provide direct oversight, hiring, training, and supervision for 6 Regional Credit Analysts and Assistants.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily credit & collections activities to ensure timely collections and accurate account reconciliation
  • Provide training, performance reviews, and team goal setting
  • Prepare weekly AR reports and manage escalated deduction/collections issues
  • Drive process improvements for greater efficiency and quality

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in commercial credit and collections
  • Prior experience managing a team (6 direct reports)
  • Background in a mid-to-large organization, ideally a distributor or similar industry
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial credit and collections
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of six or more direct reports
  • Experience working in a mid-to-large organization, preferably in distribution or a related industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including goal-setting and performance management
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes, cash collections, and cash applications
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
