We are looking for an experienced Credit and Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will oversee credit evaluations, collections processes, and billing operations while fostering strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone with a background in credit management, excellent analytical skills, and experience in the construction or building materials industry.
Job Responsibility:
Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers to minimize financial risk
Manage collections processes, including maintaining detailed payment histories and resolving past-due accounts
Supervise the billing cycle to ensure accuracy and efficiency, addressing any discrepancies promptly
Analyze and maintain billing data to ensure integrity and identify opportunities for process improvement
Lead and mentor a team of billing specialists, setting priorities and monitoring performance
Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, sales, and operations to align credit and billing processes
Prepare detailed reports on billing and collections performance, presenting metrics to stakeholders
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and leverage technology effectively
Respond to inquiries regarding billing, payment status, and credit evaluations
Ensure compliance with construction lien laws and bond claim practices
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections management within the construction or building materials industry
Expertise in credit evaluation and collections practices, including familiarity with construction lien laws
Proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft D365 or Salesforce, along with Microsoft Office tools
Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating teams
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to mitigate financial risk
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
Valid driver’s license required
