Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our client's team in Olathe, Kansas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a pivotal part in evaluating credit applications, managing collections, and ensuring compliance with credit policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of credit processes within a commercial setting.

Job Responsibility:

Assess and analyze credit applications to determine customer creditworthiness
Manage commercial collections by monitoring outstanding accounts and ensuring timely payment
Collaborate with internal teams to approve credit agreements and maintain compliance with company policies
Utilize Excel and other business analysis tools to generate reports and insights on credit performance
Develop and maintain effective communication with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes
Review and update credit authority levels in alignment with organizational policies
Conduct periodic evaluations of credit agreements to ensure adherence to terms and conditions
Support business operations by providing recommendations based on credit analysis findings
Maintain accurate records of all credit approvals and documentation for audit purposes

Requirements:

Proven experience in credit analysis, including commercial and collections processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VBA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in business analysis tools
Familiarity with credit applications, agreements, and approvals
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of credit administration policies and procedures
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
