Job Description:

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join a healthcare-focused financial operations team in Milwaukie, Oregon. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a technically skilled accounting specialist who is comfortable managing high-volume credit and AR activity, producing accurate reporting, and investigating complex payment issues in a fast-moving environment. The role combines hands-on reconciliation work with process improvement efforts and close communication with a large customer base. Success in this position requires strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to meet daily deadlines consistently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and distribute a high volume of daily reports (80+ per day) with accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage high-volume communication with customers (phone and email), supporting up to 900 accounts
  • Develop and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and drive process improvements through automation
  • Support accounts receivable operations, beginning with debit accounts and progressing to more complex portfolios
  • Perform daily and weekly reconciliations, including report matching and credit processing
  • Execute daily processing activities while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with full-cycle accounting processes
  • Hands-on experience in accounts receivable analysis and/or credit analysis
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems, databases, and tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data analysis and reporting)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, take corrective action, and communicate effectively
  • Reliable with consistent attendance and a strong sense of accountability
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments
