Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate and decision residential mortgage applications
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders, providing clear, solution-oriented feedback on applications
  • Manage a high-volume workflow with precision, ensuring quick turnaround times without compromising on quality or compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven background in mortgage credit assessment (Australian market experience is essential)
  • Strong understanding of credit risk, serviceability calculations, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
